So the small party went along to the Buzz Inn, part of a small chain of steakhouse restaurants in the Northwest state. As they walked in, the three scanned the room for a table but a waitress quickly came over. At first, the trio must have been pleased at the prompt service, but what the waitress had to say definitely did not please them. It was something the women had never expected to hear.

Instead of showing the three women to a table, the Buzz Inn waitress explained that there was a problem, and that she wouldn’t be able to seat Gobin, her mom or her sister. But the reason behind the waitress’ seemingly random refusal made the pregnant woman’s blood pressure reach boiling point.

The waitress told the women that one of them was violating the restaurant’s dress code, and so she had to turn them away. She told them the restaurant’s policy was, “No shoes, no shirt – no service.” This confused the trio, no-one in their party was contravening this rule – all of the women were fully clothed and wearing shoes.
