The rescue team expected an upsetting sight, but it was worse than they feared. The stray dog had wandered into a random yard, but now he couldn’t get up. As the team approached, they realized just how bad the situation was and that they had to act quickly before it was too late.

That rescue group was California-based non-profit organization Hope For Paws. It was created back in 2008 by husband and wife team Audrey and Eldad Hagar. To this day they remain actively involved with Paws, and Eldad frequently attends animal rescues.

Indeed, it was Eldad – along with his co-worker, Loreta Frankonyte – who attended a rescue involving a wounded stray dog. On July 28, 2017, Paws uploaded a video on its official YouTube channel documenting the event. It all started with a call from a concerned citizen.
