While caring for fully-grown donkeys is hard work, looking after babies is even more tiring, as one farmer recently found out. The man had come into the ownership of a two-week-old donkey named Elvis. And it soon turned out that the animal could be quite a handful.

Donkey pregnancies last 12 months. And by the time that the foal is born, they are pretty much fully developed. Within an hour of their births, in fact, donkeys are able to stand. Furthermore, they can walk and even run before their first day on Earth is out.
